OPEN TENT by CHI-KA is back at Alserkal Avenue. This year CHI-KA has teamed up with Swiss-born chef Michael Fessler to create a culinary concept that brings together Japanese and Middle-Eastern cuisine. Yamanote, Dubai’s first Japanese bakery, will sit alongside neighbouring speciality coffee roastery Night Jar, and Mirzam Chocolate Makers, in a setting surrounded by minimalist decor, bonsai gardens, calligraphy murals, and live oud. Tawlet Souk El Tayeb at INKED
Tawlet is a `mom’s kitchen and table” concept where cooks from different regions of Lebanon will be sharing dishes drawing from their own history, traditions, and hometown flavours. Two sittings daily from 18-24 May. Book at www.inked.ae

Discover the Avenue in a new way with their latest community programme, 101 workshops. For Ramadan, 101 Workshops will take place weekly and give visitors a chance to interact with our community through free workshops, classes, trainings, or guided visits.
Each 101 Workshop takes place in the community members’ respective spaces. Limited spaces available.

Ever wanted to truly understand the words 'single origin'? Join the teams from Zero4 Coffee and Mirzam Chocolate for a group workshop focused on understanding more about biodiversity, flavour development and how tasting is far more delicious than eating. Zero 4 sources interesting coffee beans from across the world for Mirzam's coffee counter.
